Tilmicosin base Treatment and prevention of respiratory diseases

Composition:

Each ml solution contains: Tilmicosin base (as phosphate) 250 mg

Dosage form: Oral solution

Spectrum of activity: Tilmicosin is a macrolide antibiotic synthesised from tylosin. It has an antibacterial spectrum similar to tylosin with enhanced activity against Pasteurella multocida and Pasteurella Haemolytica as well as Mycoplasma spp.

Indications: For the use in poultry, tilmicosin is indicated for the treatment and control of respiratory diseases associated with mycoplasma and other organisms susceptible to tilmicosin.

Dosage and administration: Oral administration via drinking water to broilers, layer pullets before 16 weeks age, and turkey flocks.

General dose: 2 ml/10 liters of drinking water daily for 3 days

Medicated drinking water should be used within 24 hours and prepared fresh every day.

Contraindications: Use in laying hens, where eggs used for human consumption.

Withdrawal time: Meat (broilers, turkeys): 10 days

Storage condition: Store closed at 15 – 250C, protected from light

Shelf-life: 3 years from the manufacturing date

Presentations: bottle of 100 ml, 250 ml and 1 liter
