INDICATIONS FOR USE, SPECIFYING THE TARGET SPECIES
FLORFENICOL LH 20% is indicated for the treatment of infectious diseases caused by: Pasteurella spp., Avibacterium paragallinarum, Salmonellla spp., Staphylococcus spp., Clostridium spp., E. coli, Ornithobacterium rhinotracheale, Gallibacterium anatis and other microorganisms sensitive to Florfenicol.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
None has been described.
SPECIAL WARNINGS FOR EACH TARGET SPECIES
Be sure that the birds do not have access to other source of water while the treatment is being administered. Do not use the product in cases of known hypersensitivity to propylene glycol and polyethylene glycol.

SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS FOR USE IN ANIMALS
None is necessary.
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN BY THE PERSON ADMINISTERING THE MEDICINAL PRODUCT TO ANIMALS
Avoid direct contact of the product with skin or mucous membranes.
Wear gloves at the time of administration.
Wash hands thoroughly after use.
ADVERSE REACTIONS (FREQUENCY AND SERIOUSNESS)
There may be a slight decrease in food intake, which passes quickly at the end of the treatment.
USE DURING PREGNANCY, LACTATION OR LAY
No special precautions have been described.
Studies in laboratory animals have not revealed any evidence of potential embryotoxic or foetotoxic effect of florfenicol. The safety of the product during pregnancy and lactation has not been studied. Use of the product during pregnancy and lactation is not therefore recommended.
INTERACTION WITH OTHER MEDICINAL PRODUCTS AND OTHER FORMS OF INTERACTION
None has been described.
AMOUNT TO BE ADMINISTERED AND ADMINISTRATION ROUTE
Administer orally, in drinking water.
Administer 0.5 ml – 1 ml of FLOREFENICOL LH - 20% /1 L of drinking water for 3 to 5 days. Renew the medicated water every 24 hours.
OVERDOSE (SYMPTOMS, EMERGENCY PROCEDURES AND ANTIDOTES)
None has been described.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Meat: 5 days.
Eggs: Do not administer to animals producing eggs destined for human consumption.

SHELF LIFE
The period of validity is 2 years, if kept under the recommended storage conditions.
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS FOR STORAGE
Keep out of sight and reach of children. Keep in a cool, dry place protected from
light, at a temperature not above 30°C.

PACKAGING
High density polyethylene bottles, of a white color, with a capacity for 1 Liter and 5 Liters, with self-adhesive labels printed with the technical information.
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS FOR THE DISPOSAL OF UNUSED MEDICINAL PRODUCT OR WASTE MATERIALS DERIVED FROM THE USE OF SUCH PRODUCTS
Any unused drug or waste products derived from the use of this medicinal producto should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations. Never leave empty containers near homes, water sources or animals. Avoid contaminating Surface water and drainage systems.
