Composition
1 g contains: Ampicillin (trihydrate), 50 mg; Colistin (sulphate), 125.000 IU.
Prevention and treatment of diarrhoeas caused by sensitive germs as salmonellosis and colibacillosis.
Contraindications
Do not use in animals with a history of allergies to beta-lactams. Do not use in rabbits, guinea-pigs, hamsters or other small rodents. Do not use in animals with renal failure.
Adverse reactions
Gastrointestinal alterations (diarrhoeas, pseudomembranous colitis). Allergic reactions.

Target species
Calves, lambs, kid goats, fowls and pigs.
Dosage for each species, route and method of administration
Oral use in drinking water or feed.
Prevention: Administer 1 g/L of drinking water or 2 g/kg of feed.
Treatment: Administer 2 g/L of drinking water or 4 g/kg of feed, daily, for 3-5 days.
Renew the medicated solution, at least, every 24 hours.
Withdrawal period
Meat: 6 days.
Storage precautions
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Protect from moisture, light and heat.
Special warnings
Interactions: Do not give with bacteriostatic anti-infectives (tetracyclines, chloramphenicol, sulphonamides...). Aminoglycoside antibiotics and cephalosporins increase the neurotoxic and nephrotoxic effects. Muscle relaxants increase the neuromuscular blockade.
Overdose: Neurotoxic and nephrotoxic signs can appear. Diarrhoeas by dysbacteriosis which disappear discontinuing medication.
Disposal
Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your veterinary surgeon how to dispose of medicines no longer required. These measures should help to protect the environment.
