Water soluble powder

Composition:

Each gram powder contains:

Doxycycline hyclate                             150 mg

Tylosin tartrate                                     200 mg

Dosage form: Oral powder

Spectrum of activity:

Doxycycline is a tetracycline derivative, with bacteriostatic action against a large number of Grampositive and Gramnegative bacteria. It acts also against Mycoplasma spp., Rickettsiae and Chlamydia spp.

Tylosin, a macrolide antibiotic, is active against particularly Grampositive bacteria like, some Spirochetes (including Leptospira); Actinomyces, Mycoplasma (PPLO), Haemophilus pertussis, Moraxella bovis and some Gramnegative cocci.

Indications: Infections caused by micro-organisms susceptible to doxycycline and tylosin, especially infections of the respiratory tract and enteritis in calves, pigs and poultry.

Dosage and administration: Orally via drinking water or calf-milk.

Calves: 100 g powder/80 calves of 50 kg body weight, during 3 – 5 consecutive days

Pigs: 100 g powder/200 litters of drinking water, during 3 – 5 days

Poultry: Prevention: 100 g powder/300 litters of drinking water, during 3 – 5 days

            Treatment: 100 g powder/150 litters of drinking water, during 3 – 5 days

Medicated drinking water should be used within 24 hours.

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to tetracyclines, serious renal- and/or liver dysfunctions, simultaneous administration with penicillins and/or cephalosporines.

Withdrawal time: Meat: 15 days; eggs: 4 days

Storage condition: Store closed and dry at 15 – 250C.

Shelf-life: 3 years from the manufacturing date

Presentations: sachets of 100 g, plastic jar of 1000 g
