Toltrazuril 25 mg/ml Prevention and control of coccidiosis on poultry

Composition:

Each ml solution contains: Toltrazuril    25 mg

Dosage form: Oral solution

Spectrum of activity: Toltrazuril, a triazinetrione derivative, is active against all intracelular stages of coccidia, including schizonts, micro- and macrogamontes. Toltrazuril acts against the following coccidian of poultry: Chicken: eimeria acervulina, Eimeria brunette, Eimeria maxima, Eimeria mitis, Eimeria necatrix, Eimeria tenella. Turkey: eimeria adenoids, Eimeria meleagridis, Eimeria meleagrimitis.

Indications: Prevention and control of coccidiosis, caused by micro-organisms susceptible to toltrazuril in poultry.

Dosage and administration: Oral administration via drinking water to broilers, layer pullets before 16 weeks age, and turkey flocks.

General dose: 7 mg toltrazuril per kg body weight for 2 consecutive days. This generally corresponds with 300 ml Toltrapan per 100 liters of drinking water daily. If necessary repeat treatment after 5 days.

Contraindications: Use in laying hens, where eggs are to be used for human consumption.

Side effects: No side effects are reported when used at therapeutic doses.

Withdrawal time: Meat (broilers, turkeys): 21 days

Storage condition: Store closed at 15 – 250C and protected from light

Shelf-life: 3 years from the manufacturing date

Presentations: bottle of 1 liter
