COMPOSITION

PHARMACEUTICAL FORM
Oral solution.
Solution slightly viscous, slightly translucent, blue color, without characteristic odor.
TARGET SPECIES
Poultry.
INDICATIONS FOR USE, SPECIFYING THE TARGET SPECIES
Indicated in poultry for the control and treatment of infestations caused by intestinal nematodes and external parasites such as lice and mites. It controls the beetle of the bed, intermediate host of the most common tapeworms of the poultry, reason why an indirect control of the tapeworms is established.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
None has been described.

SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
Special precautions for use in animals
Do not administer by parenteral route (injectable).
Special precautions to be taken by the person administering the medicinal product to animals
Avoid direct contact of the product with skin or mucous membranes.
Wear gloves at the time of administration.
Adverse reactions (frequency and seriousness)
None have been described.
Use during pregnancy, lactation or lay
No special precautions have been described.
Interaction with other medicinal products and other forms of interaction
None have been described.

AMOUNT TO BE ADMINISTERED AND ADMINISTRATION ROUTE
Administer orally in drinking water.
1 ml/ 25 kg of b.w. (equivalent to 400 µg of Ivermectin/kg of b.w.) during 2 consecutive days.
If necessary, repeat the dose after 15 days according to the criteria of the veterinarian.
OVERDOSE (SYMPTOMS, EMERGENCY PROCEDURES, ANTIDOTES)
Ivermectin has a safety margin. However, in case of overdosage, a symptomatic treatment should be administrated.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Meat: 12 days.
Eggs: 6 days.

SHELF LIFE
The shelf life of the veterinary medicinal product as packaged for sale: 2 years.
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS FOR STORAGE
Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Keep in the original container, in a cool and dry place, protected from direct sunlight, at a temperature not above 30°C.
PACKAGING
The container of the oral solution is made of a white high-density polyethylene bottle, sealed with an aluminium lainer with a tamper-proof screw cap of the same material, with self-adhesive labels printed with the technical information. The bottles come in presentatios of 15 ml, 30 ml, 100 ml, 500 ml and 1 Liter.
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS FOR THE DISPOSAL OF UNUSED MEDICINAL PRODUCT OR WASTE MATERIALS DERIVED FROM THE USE OF SUCH PRODUCTS
Any unused veterinary medicinal product or waste materials derived from the use of this medicinal product should be disposed of in accordance with local requirements. Medicines sould not be disposed of via wastewater or house hold waste. Never leave empty container near homes, water sources or animals.
