BETAMINT

Composition: Betaine  250g; Vitamin C  90g; Potassium chloride  2g; Magnesium chloride hexahydrated 4g, Calcium chloride dihydrated  40g, sodium chloride 20g, sweetening mentholated excipient q.s 1 liter.

Dosage form: Oral solution

Pharmaceutical properties: Betamint is specially formulated to relieve symptoms caused by heat stress syndrome, due to high environment temperatures and high relative humidity. Some of the symptoms of heat stress are the followings: distress, reduced feed intake, lower body weight, increased feed conversion ratio, increased carcass fat content, decreased carcass lean content, decreased fertility rate, low-quantity semen, decreased egg production, decreased egg size, reductions in egg shell quality, increased amount of dejections, increased susceptibility to illness, increased number of rejections and increased mortality rate. Betamint is a mentholated oral solution for the drinking water, refreshing, rehydrating and anti-stressing, which reduces mortality and productivity losses in animals suffering from heat stress.

Poultry and swine: relief of heat stress symptoms

Dosage and instruction for use:

- Prevention: add 1 l of Betamint in 1000 l of drinking water for 3 – 5 days, starting 2 days before the beginning of the hot period.

- Control: add 2 l of Betamint in 1000 l of drinking water for 3 – 5 days.

The use of Betamint can be continued if heat stress persists.

Renew the solution, at least, every 24 hours.
